We are looking for a corporate computer systems technician to round out our Corporate Systems Team. This position has the potential for upward mobility. This position is based out of Reston, Virginia and some travel is required.

What’s this opportunity look like?

Take ownership of the Service Desk during set hours. You’ll resolve IT help tickets within set SLA’s as Tier I and escalate others to Tier II.

  • You’ll manage, order, refresh, deliver and ship gold-imaged laptops to company team members across the country. You’ll also keep the corporate gold-image up to date with the latest drivers and security patches as an ongoing responsibility, so you’ll need to stay up to date on the latest security releases.
  • Maintain an asset register of Corporate IT hardware with 100% accountability of company property to help us stay on budget.
  • Maintain technical diagrams and documentation to help with process flow and troubleshooting.
  • Application Management and user training to make sure resources are effective and efficient.
  • New User Orientation and on-boarding to welcome employees with a positive first experience from the Service Desk.
  • Setup Video Teleconference equipment and software to make sure meetings aren’t delayed for technical reasons.
  • Obtain the following Professional Certifications with the first year of employment:
    • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) Certification
    • Security Professional Certification (Security+)

Additional Requirements:

Associates Degree in a related field and 1 – 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
