What Will You Do? 

In this role you will report to the Director of Information Technology and be a key business partner. You will bring your experience working within an agile culture partnering with Software Engineering to enable continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and software delivery to help RiskLens implement the right processes and promote the right culture for success. 

As an Information Security Engineer, you will develop, plan, test, troubleshoot and implement security protection and solutions to support internal IT operations, Development cycles, SOC and FedRamp initiatives. This candidate is responsible for identifying risks associated with network security and mitigating or remediating them in accordance with organizational policy.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Within 30 days be able to identify and mitigate gaps and develop baseline remediation strategies within industry standards and best practices. Delivering a key strategy guide to the Director of IT. 
  • Within 60 days gather and collate all risks to RiskLens and begin mitigation programs with key stakeholders to create a zero-risk environment. 
  • Within 90 days ascertain SOC2 Type 2 and FedRamp Diligence requirements and be prepared to report to executive leadership a fully-fledged security plan demonstrating key element to success attaining FedRamp Authority to Operate.  

Skills and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 – 7 years experience in the InfoSec, technical degree preferred or applicable experience. 
  • Strong cybersecurity knowledge and analytical skills or aptitude. 
  • Demonstrated critical and structured thinking skills that will allow for problem decomposition and solution setting. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. This role requires the ability to understand and articulate the value proposition and technical advantages of RiskLens products and services. 
  • Basic understanding of API’s and web services (RESTful principles preferred). 
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with network management and monitoring toolsets such as Wireshark, ExtraHop, TrendMicro, Qualys Kali Linux and associated solutions. 
  • Experience maintaining network baseline configurations
