In this role you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be a key business partner for the CFO and the Product organization. You will bring your experience working within an Agile culture partnering with Software Engineering to enable continuous integration, continuous deployment, security, and software delivery to help RiskLens implement the right processes and promote the right culture for success.

Performance Profile

Within 30 days:

  • Gain an understanding of RiskLens IT environment and Agile product development lifecycle
  • Understand RiskLens vision, mission and key objectives
  • Understand RiskLens platform, product roadmap and value proposition
  • Completed key onboarding activities

Within 90 days:

  • Conduct interviews with a broad, representative sample of employees as a key input understanding the current situation and priorities
  • Complete a review of IT processes and practices and recommend changes required to achieve business goals
  • Define key success metrics
  • Define a vision and mission for IT, in total, and where necessary for component parts
  • Document and start executing an action plan to implement recommended changes

Within 6 months:

  • Implement new processes, methodologies and technologies to increase automation, reliability, performance, cost effectiveness and security of the RiskLens platform
  • Develop a technology roadmap for RiskLens business systems
  • Be recognized as a business partner and trusted advisor across the business
  • Provide leadership and expertise in developing, communicating and promoting the RiskLens and IT team culture
  • Be a key contributor as part of the Finance and Operations team

 

Required Skills and Experience Include:

  • Able to describe your leadership philosophy
  • Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn
  • Analytical, critical thinker, collaborative, energetic and adaptable
  • Strong vision combined with strong execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with anyone in the business
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
  • Seven or more years of IT leadership experience
  • Demonstrated Azure cloud experience required
  • Azure certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of FAIR desirable
  • Previous experience of FedRAMP desirable
  • Previous experience of SOC2 Type 2 desirable
  • CISSP or CISM certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with software engineering to implement Agile processes, DevSecOps, SRE or other similar methods desirable
  • Previous experience in scaling a technology company from 100 to 500 people highly desirable
