You’re passionate about software engineering. Desire to work on a world-class Software-as-a-Service platform serving some of the largest companies in the world. You find working with API’s restful, and understand what it takes to be a pragmatic programmer.
You love creating SOLID code in an agile environment. Most of what you’ll be doing day-to-day is working on the RiskLens platform; both on the frontend and backend systems. The stack you’ll be working on is (front to back) Foundation, ReactJS (currently migrating from KnockoutJS), GraphQL, ASP.Net MVC, C#, Dapper, and SQL Server.
You’ve got the experience we need. Optimally you have 2+ years of experience creating software (preferably in our stack, but we won’t judge you if your last job was with Angular or even Java). Most of all you understand how modern web applications are built (and you get bonus points for experience in ReactJS and GraphQL).
You care how software is written and used. You use design patterns and write secure testable code. You understand SQL (and have used one flavor of it or another). But you also care how users interact with what you’ve created and are only satisfied when they are.
You’re a self-starter and a critical thinker. You’re capable of taking on technical challenges big and small. Sometimes you’ll be working solo on a project, as such; you can work with minimal guidance and seek the best solution.
We’re RiskLens and we’re changing the way Fortune-500 enterprises measure and manage their cyber security risk. We help organizations quantify their cyber security risk in dollars so it can be managed in business terms.
Our SaaS platform isn’t your run-of-the-mill web app that lets you fill in a form and does nothing else and definitely not another glorified image sharing platform. The RiskLens platform uses Monte Carlo simulations, distributions, the Factor Analysis of Information Risk model and a few other interesting bits to answer real cybersecurity questions.
Our software engineering team is a highly collaborative team using agile practices, peer code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and a handful of other tools and methodologies to create world-class software. We’re growing fast and leading the market for quantitative cyber security risk analysis.
